>Kevin Thornton has earned a contract with the Cobblers that will see him at Sixfields until the end of the season. Thornton, who started out on a month to month deal in January, has put in some impressive performances for the club so far despite starting the majority of games from the bench.
The midfielder came agonizingly close to winning the game in a stunning cameo against Burton Albion but was back on the bench for the Dagenham game at the weekend. Let’s hope we see more of his quality now that the contract has been earned!
