Former Cobblers defender John Curtis has made a surprising move to America after his release from Sixfields. Curtis was one of the players not offered a new deal at the end of the season and will now be featuring for Gold Coast United in the A-League across the pond.
The defender was taken on by United manager Miron Bleiberg last month and impressed in a trial enough to earn a one year deal.
