Cardoza goes back on agents fees policy

In a transfer market more competitive than ever this summer, David Cardoza has gone back on his previous policy of not paying fees to agents in a bid to get the very best players into the club.

Cardoza had been strongly against the idea in the past but has now admitted it to be necessary with so much competition in League Two, particularly at the top end of the table in which we must compete next season in order for the chairman to be a happy man.

That could mean the deals to bring in the likes of Arron Davies from Peterborough and Jake Robinson on a free plus the likely completion of Ben Tozer’s move to Sixfields could be escalated quicker than they would have been in the past with the Town chief expecting to have “one or two” signings in by the end of this week according to the Chron.
