Aidy Boothroyd says that he could still hold on to Michael Jacobs during the transfer window with the Cobblers boss stating that ‘only a huge offer’ would persuade him to sell the midfielder.

Meanwhile, Boothroyd said that the point at Shrewsbury was a mark of the teams’ progress since November when the Shrews hammered us 7-2 at Sixfields.

League Two Transfer window update…

Rotherham United have completed the signing of Chelsea goalkeeper Rhys Taylor on a month’s loan. The Wales Under 21 international replaces Conrad Logan who returned to Leicester following the end of his spell with the Millers.

Following his release from Oxford United, Simon Clist has signed a deal with League Two rivals Hereford United. The midfielder had been on loan from the U’s since August and Oxford agreed to release him from his contract to enable the permanent move.
